I am Foeke Boersma, 25 years old, I have a background in human geography and planning (BSc) and Economic Geography (MSc). I am studying Geographical Information Management and Applications (GIMA) at Utrecht University.

Currently, I am doing an internship at Centraal Bureau Statistiek and Kadaster whereby I model and visualize potential drone routes in an urban area with the aim of supporting local governors in future policies that are related to urban air mobility. The visualization is done in 2D, 3D and via Unity, whereby I look at the added value of a game engine in visualizing potential drone routes.

After my current internship, I aim to do another internship, in Luxembourg, with the following topic in mind: Examining and comparing spatiotemporal patterns in air pollution and related personal exposure with regards to socioeconomic status.
